Queer Art online competition

2026

This body of work was created for the online Queer Art competition held in October 2026.

Using texture, playing with light and shadow and exploring queer identity; celebrating trans men and trans masc experiences, and our bodies. This work is comprised of five main pieces of work, varying from bodily exploration to still life.

These works move between celebration and unease. Everyday objects, medical transition, grief and chosen community become ways of tracing how a body is lived, questioned and reclaimed.

TransGiving Project 2026

TransGiving UK is a grass-roots project run by two trans non-binary people named Trash and Seren. Started in 2021 out of a tiny flat, this project aims to give back to the community during a particularly hard time of year for many in our community.

This project sounded like the perfect opportunity to spread some joy! I created pieces that focused on positive messages, reminders that trans bodies deserve love.

The main pieces of work I donated involved my ‘Heart’ series showcases body tape cut into the shape of a heart, turning an everyday medical product into a moment of trans joy.

There were also sketches of stray cats which were sent, that I drew on my travels throughout October 2026, with positive written affirmations. I particularly enjoy drawing stray animals as it feels like a brief moment of kinship between two wandering souls.
